Responsibilities and duties :
- Researching, writing, devising and directing productions.
- Client liaison from initial enquiry, formulation of proposals and budgets through development and completion.
- Contracting appropriate freelance performers, designers and technical staff.
- On-site liaison with venue management, caterers, sub-contracted companies and client.
- Interviews for television, radio and press inc. photo-calls, advance publicity and reviews.
- Master of Ceremonies, Cabaret, Character & Mask work in interactive performance.
- Consultant on all aspects of event management.
- Experienced Tutor of physical theatre and circus skills.
2005/06 Productions include :
- Shakespeare's Fools with the Musicians of the Globe; Neuss,Germany, Dubrovnic, Chester Festival, Poole Arts Centre and Mexico.
- Jester of the Globe and musicians; Shakespeare Festival Gyula, Hungary.
- Festival of Fools, Muncaster Castle, Cumbria. Entertainments: Tower of London, Faversham Hop Festival, Kentwell Hall, Knebworth & Middle-Aston House and Xscape, Milton Keynes.
- Physicality of the Fool: masterclasses at the National Centre of Performing Arts, Mexico.
- Circus skills workshops for Oxfordshire County Council & Talentstop Summer school.
- Corporate work includes motivational workshops, conference break-outs, after-dinner speaking and entertainments particularly at Christmas.
1985 - 2000
Formed Fools Paradise Theatre Productions to create 'A Medieval Extravaganza', with the New London Consort; Queen Elizabeth Hall, Barbican, Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, touring Greece & Athens Festival. Also as a resource base it provides a large pool of freelance professional artists under a single artistic direction and management.
